Our French Black Copper Marans are the result of a very specific effort to breed a Marans that can both meet the Standard of Perfection AND produce amazing, deep chocolate brown eggs. Tricky business though… a lot like a dangerous spy mission! ;o)
♥ Juvenile Chickens (Pullets and Cockerels) are 6 weeks to 24 weeks old. Your juvenile birdies are most likely a pre-order, so expect up to 10 weeks for your juveniles to be ready for pick-up or delivery.
♥ Adult Chickens (Hens and Roosters) are 24 weeks (about 6 months old) and older. If these birdies show as “In Stock”, it means they are available for pick-up or delivery now.
♥ It is extremely important that you track your bird shipment/s, and be prepared to pick them up as soon as they are available. Most bird shipments will be held at your local post office for pick up. We pack all of our birdies with high moisture “road snacks”, but due to shipping restrictions, they will need water immediately upon pickup (neglecting this detail may result in the death of your bird/s).
