Salmon Faverolles Chicks
An strategic blend of two of the nations BEST breeding programs, our BFF Faverolles chicks will steal your heart with their puffy little cheeks and fluffy legs! Faverolles have quickly become one of my favorite breeds due to their many, unique qualities. Some standout characteristics of this breed include being very winter hearty, good winter egg layers, tough feet (with a spare toe on each foot), TONS of feathers and enough drama for opera! And if one of your chicks happens to end up being a rooster, have no fear! Faverolles roosters are not only GORGEOUS to look at, but are equally as pleasant to be around. In fact, Faverolles roosters are known for being the least aggressive of ALL of the chicken breeds. Lastly, both the roosters and the hens are complete comedians! When turned out to roam free, these birds have the funniest excitement behaviors!! It is very common to see your Faverolles run from place to place very low to the ground, and throw in the occasional “run in a circle for no reason” routine. Barnyard entertainment at it’s finest!
♥ Your “Straight Run” Chicks will be any combination of males and females, and typically start to reveal their genders at about 4 to 5 weeks old.
♥ This is a pre-order! Please allow up to 16 weeks for delivery (our average is 5 weeks though). Our shipping time frames are greatly affected by the weather, and we will only ship your chicks when the temperatures are safe. We will contact you 1 week before we ship your chicks so you are ready for them ♥
♥ Please contact us immediately if you will not be available to receive your chicks at our estimated time of delivery! If mailed, your chicks will need food and water after being in the mail for 2 days and they can perish if not picked up from your post office upon arrival.
